(Assisted by the youth of Carmelitos Housing Community). Daniel Martinez is an artist-illustrator-designer who has worked professionally on projects ranging from textiles, and murals to clothing and fashion fine art. His creative use of vibrant color is used to educate children on the principals of art making techniques.
Location: A temporary public art and education project.
Located at the Carmelitos Housing Community Garden.

Description: Under the creative direction of artist Daniel Martinez, the youth of the Carmelitos Housing Community attended weekly art-making classes. As a result of their training the youth created series of unique art masks. These whimsical and colorful masks were installed throughout the Carmelitos Housing Community Garden, transforming the space into a distinct public art venue.
